Gingerbread French Toast
Ingredients
1 can worth of Aquafaba
60ml Original Milk
1 tsp Ground ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
4 thick slices of sourdough bread
Oil of choice for frying
Gingerbread man for garnish and crumbling
Icing sugar for sprinkling
Koko Vanilla Yogrt!

150g Sugar
240ml Koko Original Milk
A pinch of salt
1 tsp Ground Ginger
method
1. Drain chickpeas. Whisk the aquafaba for 5-10 minutes or until stiffened and white.
2. Add the spices to the whisked aquafaba.
3. Dip the bread in the mixture, allowing it to soak it up. Transfer to pan and fry both
sides until brown.
4. Assemble: Drizzle with ginger caramel if using, top with Koko Vanilla Yogrt!,
gingerbread crumbs/man. Finish with a sprinkle of icing sugar to feel fancy.
5. Enjoy!
Caramel Method:
1.Heat a pot over medium-high heat, add sugar and stir for 1 minute.
2. Add Koko Milk, salt, and ginger, stirring to combine. Simmer for about 15 minutes (until
thick), stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat, cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a jar and cool in the fridge for at
least two hours.
